Finding Jesus Christ

As Paul says in the book of Philippians,
“Indeed I count every thing as loss because of surpassing worth of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord. For his sake I have suffered the loss of all things and count them as rubbish, in order that I may gain Christ and be found in Him”.
Today in pursuit of happiness, peace, gratification of our needs - it would be much difficult for us to consider and count things which we think we have earned, owned, won or conquered as loss in order to gain Christ and to be found in Him or to find Jesus. When our fellow people are in the captivity of the darkness, in pain, in hunger, in loneliness, in poverty, in sickness, in pain, in loss, in abandonment,  in bondages of drugs and abuse, in immoral acts, greed of money, under the feeling of guilt and shame,  the need of the hour is they need to find Jesus, or other words we need to help them find Jesus.

Why find Jesus?
Matthew 16:26 "For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world and forfeits his soul?
In our busy lives we are in no “pursuit” of finding Jesus Christ and helping our fellowmen too to find Jesus, without realizing we all have sinned and fall short of the Glory of God. We do not realize the importance of Good news; Jesus Died for our sins, Paid the price, got crucified for us to take away our sins and He rose again to give us eternal life.
We tend to overlook the love of God, the unconditional love of God as he is the only God or may be a person who is willing to accept us the way we are, no matter how grave our sins are.
The bible says, if we confess our sins he is faithful enough to forgive our sins. What is expected to find Jesus is- “simply faith”. God provides righteousness through faith. God cannot declare any man righteous or remit ones sin without faith in the atonement.

Jesus Loves you and me, even though a God of vengeance, still he does not punishes us or treats us the way we have sinned or disobeyed him time and again. He is a God full of love and compassion, he cares for us as the pupil of his eye, he is the only one who will value yours and mine tears, empathizes with us even though when it is our fault. He does not expects us to suffer with our worries but expects us to cast our burdens, he is the only one who will be with us till the very end of the age. The God who cares for us and Loves us beyond measure; is it not our responsibility to help others too to find Jesus??

We are sinners and are dead in our transgressions and sins, which is why we are in pain and sickness, we are gratifying the cravings of our sinful nature, following our lustful desires and thoughts, but because of His (God’s) great love for us; God who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions, it is by His grace we have been saved.
Grace which is a gift of God for us, we have been saved through faith and not by our works.
Now we need  help people come out from the realms of darkness and the feeling of Guilt and to lead them towards the heavenly realms. We ourselves need to re-find Jesus and at the same time help others to find Jesus through his living word, the work of the Holy Spirit and by being a witness.

How can one find Jesus?
Believe the Good News, Jesus died for my sins and rose again, have faith, for whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

Blessings!
